With a career spanning over two decades in real estate and a strong track record in public governance, Antoine Bass brings the precise blend of fiscal expertise and community advocacy the Southland needs.
A Champion for Homeowners and Economic Growth. As a Certified Appraiser and Realtor for over 20 years, Antoine Bass understands the complexities of property values and housing issues central to the Cook County government's role. Antoine Bass served as the 2024-2025 Government Affairs South Chair for the MainStreet Organization of Realtors, advocating for policies that protect property owners and stimulate local development. Antoine Bass holds a Marketing degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC), which provides the strategic foundation to market the 6th District to new businesses.
Dedicated to Education and Our Youth, Antoine Bass believes that strong communities start with strong schools. He served as the School Board President of SD227 (Rich Township High School District), overseeing budgets and policy to improve student outcomes. Beyond the boardroom, Antoine Bass served as the President of Matteson Scholars for Dollars, working directly to fund scholarships and open doors for local students. Trusted Political Leadership Deeply embedded in the fabric of South Suburban politics, Antoine Bass has participated in endorsement committees across Worth Township, Rich Township, and the former 34th Ward. His dedication to the party and the people was recognized with a Leadership Award from the Rich Township Democratic Organization.
